New Student Enrollment **Open enrollment for PC Schools begins June 1st**
For the convenience of parents, Putnam City Schools has a district enrollment office open year-round. It’s in this office (rather than individual schools) that all enrollment in the district takes place. Below is information you’ll need to enroll your child in Putnam City schools. Who Should Enroll All students who are new to the district as well as students who have moved within the district (and the move requires a change of schools) must begin the enrollment process at the district enrollment office. The student’s legal guardian or adult who has assumed care and custody of the student must reside in Putnam City district boundaries. Where to Enroll All enrollment takes place at the district enrollment office located at the Putnam City Center, 5604 N.W. 41st. The entrance to the enrollment office is on the north side of the building and the parking lot is located across the street to the north. Signs near the street indicate the parking areas. What to Bring Please see the district website for required items for enrollment. Enrollment Office Hours Please see district website for current hours. Enrollment Office Phone Numbers The phone number for the enrollment office is (405) 491-7631. The fax number is (405) 491-7634. |
TransfersPlease see our district website for information regarding transferring into the Putnam City School District and/or PC North.
New Student Class RegistrationUpon completion of the enrollment process at the district office, new students will meet with their academic counselor at PC North to register for classes. During peak enrollment times it may take 24-48 hours for new student information to be processed into our computer system. We recommend calling our office at 405-722-4220 to make an appointment with your counselor before coming to the school after enrolling. To expedite the class registration process, please bring a copy of your student's transcript and their withdrawal grades from their previous school with you.
PCN operates on a seven hour school day. All students, including seniors, students enrolled in concurrent classes, and those enrolled at Francis Tuttle, must be enrolled in seven hours regardless of credits. *Please note that even if students plan to enroll in Concurrent classes or Francis Tuttle the enrollment form should be completed as if they were to be on the PCN campus all day. Our academic counselors will make the appropriate adjustments during your enrollment appointment, or upon your acceptance to Francis Tuttle. |
